Dorchester man charged with robbing several Dunkin' Donuts and McDonald's

Boston Police arrested a man who allegedly robbed several McDonald's and Dunkin' Donuts eateries.

Richard Calderon-Colon, 40, was apprehended Saturday morning while sleeping in a car parked at 27 Ames St., in a residential section of Dorchester, police said in a statement posted online.

Calderon-Colon, of Dorchester, is charged with armed robbery at three Dunkin' Donuts and three McDonald's restaurants, according to the statement. The restaurants — in Dorchester, Mattapan, Roxbury, and the South End — were robbed from May 13 to May 29. Each was robbed between 7:30 and 11 p.m.
